21 one-year-old Florida Native Rapper Kodak Black is talented there’s no denying that. He can switch flows and is constantly improving as a storyteller in his rhymes. He can relate to the streets and people love him for that. He hasn’t changed for anyone, after becoming famous.
But recently Kodak has been forced to change. Not in a negative way, but a way for the better. Kodak has received his G.E.D during his jail stint. He made this announcement on his Instagram:
Kodak has been locked up since January of this year when his Florida home was raided by the police during an Instagram Live broadcast. Kodak was charged with child neglect, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon and grand theft of a firearm. The charges were dropped, but he will remain in jail until about mid- September because of probation violations.
Hopefully this time he will learn his lesson and really see that he is getting chances, unlike a lot of other young black men. He can use this positive to make a change in the youth who looks up to him and use his platform for the greater good.
