People are cutting up their Nike socks and throwing away their shoes after Nike released that Colin Kaepernick is one of the new spokespeople for the Just do it Campaign
The former NFL player is featured in an ad saying “believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything”
Since then people are all over social media showcasing their Nike support but some are in shambles ruining all of their Nike gear.
Nike is generally expensive but is it really worth cutting up $20 dollar socks and $200 shoes.
Colin Kaepernick hasn't played in the NFL since 2016 and maybe suing the NFL in the future but this kind of controversy in nothing Nike can't handle.
In fact, when Serena Williams couldn’t wear her catsuit to the French Open, Nike stood up in support of her.
Even though this may seem like Nike is hot water, they probably won't be seeing a drastic decline in sales.
